I love hearing Kevin's sob story as he sits atop the league standings. What Kevin does understand is that he was very unlucky with his schedule this year, but there's nothing anyone could do about that...because you can't control how the opposing team will do. No Kevin, it doesn't take very much skill to pick up a receiver who will get you 10 points a week in a PPR league. Crowder was a nice pickup though, so props for that. And if you think "everyone else had the same opportunity to pick him up" well I had Julio Jones and Larry Fitzgerald, so why would I need another receiver.
The "data" that you pulled clearly states that you and PJ have the best teams. No fucking shit. And we are all just essentially chasing you guys. No shit. If we all had your schedule the playoff teams would be exactly the same.
In a PPR league its not very hard to replace a receiver. I had injuries to my team as well. So did everyone else. And what did they do? Pick up their replacement (Tyrell Williams). So I don't get it. Marvin Jones has been taking a shit since Week 5, so yeah obviously he shouldn't be played. Plus did your WR pickups even matter when David Johnson puts up 26 a week? If you all don't recall, Johnson was handed to Kevin in the first round. And I don't care how much you claim to know, nobody knew he would have this beastly of a season. Your toughest decision this year was to play Matt Ryan or Ben Rothelisberger.
Kevin had an excellent draft, which did require skill. HOWEVER, no one knew how their players would do. It is all making the "best guess." Zeke could have had a bust year. No one knew how well he would do in the league. I remember the worry on Kevin's face as he picked him. It turned out pretty well for him, though. I didn't know that Jamaal Charles or Dion Lewis wouldn't return bc I was fed false information from ESPN. I didn't know Danny Woodhead would tear his ACL. There is much luck involved and for the only major injury on your team to be a receiver...count your blessings.
