Right when you think Devin's Runningbacks might start to slow down, you're just straight up wrong. Gurley and Hunt are just switching back and fourth between the number 1 and number 2 backs in the league and don't show signs of stopping. Cooper has been devins big disappointment this year and Thompson might finally be on his inevitable decline. Devin also has the best Defense in the league at the Detroit Lions.
Wow. Kyle is undefeated still, and by only 0.2 points. In the closest game of the year, Kyle scored 112.2 points with an average outing by most all of his players. I don't know how much longer kyle can keep this winning streak alive, but I dont think It will be much longer after this weeks performance Kelce and Fournette are his work horses, but he needs some more reliability from other guys if he wants to continue to win.
Duke is on a 3 game winning streak, but had a sub par preformance this week with 108 points. Ty Montgomery got hurt on the first drive, leaving him with only 2 points, Demarius Thomas had 1 single catch giving him 2.1 points, and Jordan Reed continues to be Duke's biggest disappointment and weak spot this year. Duke hopes for some productivity from his bench this week against Jake Snow.
P.J had a pretty defining week this week, and as I said a few weeks ago, he might continue to climb u the rankings. Personally, I believe P.J will stay right here at the 4 spot for a lot of the season. Putting up 135 was great for this team, but there was too much reliance on a couple players. Leveon finally went off with 34 and Hopkins continues to get the target and he tallied 26. The rest of the team still put up good numbers in the teens for the most part, but we'll see how the next weeks play out.
A very tough loss for the Beef here. He lost to Kyle by 0.2 points this week leaving him at 1-3. Coburn had a pretty solid week except for the old tight end Witten. Jordan Howard is starting to show that he deserves to be at least an RB1 and Dez is looking to have a pretty good season actually. This next week is huge for coburn. 1-4 does not look good at all going into week 6 of the season. a 2-3 spot could get him back in the running.
Jordan had the least points in the league this week with 90. It's not terrible but there was just nothing going for him this week. Only 1 player on his team scored a touchdown this week while the others stayed in the single digits of points. Same goes for his bench, Injuries aren't a problem for Jordan, yet depth is. His bench all put up numbers, but most all of them were single digits as well. Jordan might need some TD's for his lineup to start functioning properly.
Team 10 had a tough loss this week to the #1 team BTOP. 116 points can usually put you up for a possible win, but fantasy is all about matchups. Ertz continues to show that he's a solid play at the TE averaging 15 points a game. Melvin Gordon has been on and off this year so far, and Watkins just isn't getting the targets he needs. Playing Duke Johnson the rest of the way might end up being the move here for Team 10 considering he's the passing down back.
Not a great week for Don once again. Ajayi is continuing to not show us what he can really do, and Don's solid RB2 Cook is out for the season with an ACL injury. Running backs will now be Don's biggest issue going forward, as it is for a lot of teams. His receiving core actually looks pretty good with some decent bench players as well.
A pretty solid week for Bernie with 124 against Chief Keef. Elliot broke out with near 30 points but that's all I see here. His Defense and kicker combined for 30 points, giving him a real big boost. Julio seems to be injured for now and Desean Jackson is just so up and down just like he has been in the past. The problem here is the reliability of the team as a whole.
Oh Jake. An 0-4 start is not ideal to say the least, but it's technically not over yet. 110 this week isn't bad but it also isn't good considering how much he put up after the Thursday night game. Demarco isn't at full strength it seems and Chris Carson just shouldn't be starting. He needs the Packers to carry his team, and they do have an explosive offense, but the Bear just absolutely sucked.
