I will try not to repeat what I've already said about each teams players, so i'll try to keep this shorter. Jacob is 3-1 and looking solid. He's 3rd in points but a lot of the reason I have him moved up is because of the return of Mark Ingram (who will come off his bench) and the fact that I think Johnson and Thompson will become great RB's. Jacob continues to put up huge points and averages about 140 a week in this years high scoring affair. He's also been a part of some close games with his point differential being +5 points. I see The O continuing to put up big numbers.
Dropping to 2 does not mean this team has gotten any worse (clearly because of the 4-0 record). There is some huge consistency in this team with basically everyone. Connor won't last too much longer, but guess what? CMC replaces him... He has 3 running backs projected 20+ points this week. There are probably 6-7 running backs in the league projected 20+, and he has 3 of them. There is a huge gap at the TE position with Kroft. I mean besides that he also has some crazy depth with Olsen, Hilton, Kupp, and Mahomes all on his bench right now.
Max has looked very solid, but hasn't come out with wins just yet. He's 1-3 He has 25 less points than the 4-0 BTOP. This is just where fantasy luck has to be on your side. HOWEVER. This team was also bailed out by Coburn DROPPING Joe Mixon. PLUS he was what, SEVENTH in the waiver order? Yeah I don't know, there's luck that goes both ways. The issue here is the depth. If this team can stay healthy, he will start to win, and soon.
Kyle ranks second in points, and sits at 2-2 and in third place in the West. His team is weird to me. Nothing about his team is amazing at all, yet he puts up big pretty consistently. Brees, Hopkins, Ertz, and Evans are his workhorses while his runningbacks have just been okay. There's also no depth much at all here with Lockett and Goff leading his bench. I also don't understand why he has spencer ware wasting a spot on his roster. Overall, this is a middle of the pack team that has scored a lot so far, but I see him being a 3 or 4 spot in the playoffs.
Jordan won big in a recent trade with Team 10, which gave me a big reason to push him up the rankings. He basically upgraded BOTH of his WR and RB positions, getting Yeldon and AJ Green for Hyde and Jeffery. I mean this was very smart for Jordan because he can play Yeldon when Fournette is hurt, and he replaced Jeffery (who he sold very high) with AJ Green? Yeah a very good look for Chief Keef. This team was already looking pretty solid and sits at 2-2, but now looks even better heading into week 5.
This is probably lower than this team deserves because besides one week, he has put up at least 140 points. Kamara will see a little bit of his work taken away with Ingram back, but that shoudnt be much of an issue at all. OBJ has yet to even see the end zone this year, which is disappointing, but to Bernie that means it couldn't be much worse even though he's still played very well. Bernie sits pretty at 3-1 with the least points against him through 4 weeks. I see him winning big against Coburn this week.
Pj is sitting at 3-1, and is facing the worst team in the league this year. He could EASILY walk to 4-1, yet has the 7th most points in the league. I do think he will start to struggle for points starting now. He's starting AARON JONES at his runningback spot along with Devonte Freeman. I will bet anybody in this league $100 that Aaron Jones will go off this week. That's just been how his season has gone thus far. People have done well at the right time. I mean Ebron just gave this dude 31 points with Doyle out, and will be the #1 TE after this week. I think PJ will somehow continue to put up points and win, but I think after this week, he might see a strong regression.
Coburn could have been much higher on this list had he not dropped Joe Mixon after he was hurt for 2 weeks. He STILL has an open spot in his lineup and has the lions defense sitting on his bench for some reason. I mean overall this team is not that bad, and has been scored on a ton which has lead to a 1-3 start to the season. This is a huge week for Coburn against Bernie Brigade and if he can pull it out, he can still manage a playoff run. If he drops to 1-4, his chances drop significantly.
I won't say much because nobody probably reads this one, but this had been a disappointing year for Duke so far, averaging 113 points a week in a league that has scored more than some recent years. Dalvin Cook has been injured which sucks because he was heavy on running backs in the draft (3/4 of which have been disappointing). Basically this is the team that fantasy specialists would have loved preseason, but have done nothing. I won't say much more than this is a must win week for Duke.
I'll keep this one short and simple as well. I definitely have sympathy for this team especially because of the Le'veon ordeal. If he had Bell, he might have a win or 2, and then wouldn't have had to make some desperate trades. It changed everything. However, he has what he has and that can't change now. I do think he lost the trade with Jordan, as I said earlier, because now he has a weird running back situation with Keryon and Hyde this week, and Jordan Howard on top of that (who has been inconsistent). He lost his guy AJ Green as well and downgraded to Alshon. I get it though, you have to take some risks if your have an 0-4 start. It will be a tough week this week against Sexual Misconduct, and it looks like he's on track to an 0-5 start.
