Week 1 – Santa is Coming.
I would like to personally thank you all for allowing me to draft Kareem Hunt in round 6.
I told Luke this week that I was not going to say a word about David Johnson to anyone, but I couldn’t resist.
Tuesday night, I laid in bed thinking about David Johnson. Since drafting him eighth overall in 2016, I have seen him do incredible things on and off of the football field. As tears swelled in my eyes, I asked my fantasy football magic conch what I should do. This is the response I received when week one of waivers were finalized Wednesday morning:

So I listened. I did nothing. Just as it looked like my team was going to run the table, disaster struck. Bring it on. In a way it feels good. They did not say it would be easy. It’s not supposed to be.
Just like last year, I will be utilizing the merry-go-round strategy at the flex position. I might have to play a different guy there each week. But bring it on. I live for this. Is that all the fantasy football gods have for me? That’s it?
Watch my every move very closely. Because between now and Sunday, I’m going to do a whole lot of nothing. I guarantee it.
ESPN’s very own Adam Schefter has reported David Johnson hopes to return by Christmas. That’s just in time for the Elite Eight Championship.
