Prediction of the week: - Duke - gets his first win of the year.
Duke's Week 3 Power Rankings
1. Best Team on Paper (3-0) -
130 Points
BTOP remains at the top after another solid week. Still unbeaten, he is tied for first in points for at 425. He handed Jacob his first loss of the season. Even with several underperforming players (Cooks, Edelman, Giants D) he still won easily. David Johnson has turned out to be one of the best RBs in the league and Elliot's numbers are great even without touchdowns. I think devin will go another 2 weeks without a loss.
2. Sexual Misconduct (1-2) ^2
149 Points
The leader in points this week puts PJ right back up there with the big boys as he is now tied for points for in the league. 3 players on his team go for 26+ points, but really there wasn't a whole lot else. Perry doesn't have much depth either and he played all of the right players this week. He's got a big week this week against his career rival, Kyle Beale. I see PJ taking the W to improve to 2-2 and get his season back on track.
3. K. Beale (2-1) ^3
128 Points
a pretty good week for Kyle that shoots him up 3 spots in the leader boards. This week is huge for him and his season. The difference between 3-1 and 2-2 is big. He actually has 4 points less than his points against total, so his wins and loses have been close. He should hope his point differential starts to widen, in a good way. But he's probably not reading this is he.
4. Don Commish (2-1) V2
112 Points
A tough first loss this week for Don brings him down to 2-1. This was a week of both over and underperforming players. If they weren't in the 20s, they were single digits, that includes his bench too. There really was no in between. Thats a tough and scary game to play, so Max is hoping for some more consistency across the board as his season progresses. WHOlio was nowhere to be found with only 1 reception but Coleman and Sims were incredible, on the bench however. It's all about playing the right players, and thats where some luck and guessing comes into play.
5. Old Sport (2-1) V2
103 Points
Ah, Old Sport. The lowest amount of points this week drops him two spots and second in the West division. Everyone except Robinson were disappointments this week. 5 players in single digits and Deangelo Williams is out the door with Leveon Bell back. HOWEVER, his bench was amazing and actually outscored his starting lineup (Lol). I don't know if I have actually seen that before. So Jacob has some people to fill his holes after a disappointing week.
6. Bernie Brigade (1-2) V1
124 Points
Almost 2-1. Isn't that how it always goes? Bernie lost by 3 points against the former 0-2 team Chief Keef. Benjamin had 0 points so that also happened. Frat Stafford continues to be an impressive fantasy QB and OBJ scored 19 over the self proclaimed best CB in the league even without a touchdown. TY Hilton also overpreformed with 31 points, many of those points coming from about a 60 yard touchdown near the end of the game. This week is a make or break for his team.
7. Chief Keef (1-2) ^1
127 Points
Jordan won his first game of the year against Bernie in a 3 point game. 4 players were in the 20s, but he is still looking to make some changes and has put some people on the trading block. He is looking for a good replacement running back to fill in for the disappointing Todd Gurley, though he got 21 points this past week. Snead ended his day with a 0 to match his opponent Benjamin. A good week for Jordan and a good step up towards a better season.
8. - Duke - (0-3) V1
108 Points
Back to where he started. Duke had a great start to his week, but it was a slow ending, as he ended up being crushed by Sexual misconduct, who lead in scoring this week. He has the lowest points for total at 310, barely averaging over 100 a week. The team might look okay on paper, maybe with last years stats, but not the production he has been hoping for this year. This marks the second year in a row where - Duke - started his year 0-3, though last year he ended up in 3rd place in the league, so theres still hope. A big week for the newly (or old) named - Duke - .
