This 7-2 team is back and has more confidence than ever. Let's not forget that BTOP still has the 1 and 2 RB. Along with that, he has the QB that always seems to thrive in the second half of the season, Russel Wilson. Devin's inconsistencies come from his receivers, Allen, Cupp, Kearse, and Cooper. Cooper and Allen could... excuse me, SHOULD be the #1 receiver at their teams by a good margin, but both have been up and down with points thus far. The consistency at RB gives devin an edge and is the main reason he leads the league in points thus far.
Sexual Misconduct has surprised us all even after a trade that we all thought could possibly ruin his season. PJ actually had the worst point total in the league last week with 75 because of a lapse in judgment mainly. It helps to have the consistently solid Le'veon Bell on your team as well as the touchdown machine at Hopkins. The one thing I see here is the overprotection of the team. Murray has been so up and down this season and only gets double digits when he scores (which has been twice this season). Diggs is ranked 31st amongst receivers but it projected over 14 points this week facing Josh Norman. I would be extremely suprised if PJ got his projection or higher this week.
The rise of the Brigade has continued. Bernie hasn't scored below 123 since week 3. He is second in points for in the league, but he might soon fall, depending on the ruling on Elliot (still). It is odd to me that Bernie has scored so much this season and I continue to not trust his numbers. The recent trade gave Bernie Jordan Howard, a good, but inconsistent RB. Thielen has been just as up and down, but Jones has started to sky rocket to his potential. Overall, the skill is there and it can be done, but it can also sway the other direction. This is a very hard team to pin down, but I haven't been given reason to not trust the process recently.
Wow. Kyle has lost 5 games in a row now. He started 5-0 and seemed to be unstoppable, but now, stands with the middle of the leaugue at 5-4. Kyle has been in some tight matchups thus far, and has pulled through in some and hasn't in other games. He ranks 3rd now in points for. Kyle faces an extremely tough bye week this week taking away his QB, WR1, and TE. Honestly, Kyle has some of the best receivers in the league right now with depth. He has the second and third WR along with Cooks and Agholor. Thats a solid group and will help him in this bye week frenzy. Even Fournette in back this week and should put up big numbers. Kyle is in line to start to make another win streak push.
Duke has been up and down thus far but has shown some consistencies recently. The Thomas' have been getting the receptions they need to thrive on their teams and the RB duo of Lamar Miller and Mckinnen have been great for Duke. Duke also has the #1 QB at Carson Wentz (BYE this week) who has been a team saver thus far. The inconsistencies form this team come from the tight end position and FLEX. Duke had 5/5 of his receivers getting at least 7 receptions in their last games, and their production looks like it will continue to remain constant. This week against BTOP can define where he stands in the league.
Don Commish's team is not messing around. Was he getting revenge from previously being ranked last and not getting the respect? Thats how I see it. A 3 game win streak has Max's playoff hopes very much alive. More than alive. Almost nobody has a playoff bid yet and the league is up for grabs and Don knows it. I am giving this team the respect it deserves. A team with solid running backs is hard to come by and gives them a top tier characteristic. Max had a solid pick up with Doyle, being the #5 tight end in the league, and the #7 Defense. Don also has some solid options with AJ Green and Doug Baldwin at his receiving options. Also, Jay will be an interesting option moving forward with the Eagles. Max's march might just continue into the coming weeks.
Jordan has 2 solid running backs, and thats about it. Well, he has a solid QB and TE (both on byes), but his receivers are becoming a problem for him. in his current lineup, Roy Woods is his WR1, averaging 10.1 points per week. Thats not good considering he is playing 3 WR's in most matchups. When Chris Hogan returns, he could become his #1 guy once again. Overall, Jordan needs his players off byes and injury free to stand a chance in his upcoming matchups.
Team 10 has the capability to be at the 7 spot, as well as the 8th, and even the 9th. The team has been looking decent, ranking 8th in points (only 3 away from being in last), yet he is 5-4. I am not taking away from his wins however, because in fantasy thats all that counts. People can bring up points for all they want, but in the end, its matchups. The lineup this week looks pretty weak with Stills, Kroft, Doctson, and Duke Johnson. The bye week is taking his Eagles away from him, who have been some of the most explosive players on his team. A loss this week could put Team 10 in a tough spot.
Coburns team has been the worst in the league thus far (in terms of points), but he's still not completely out of it. He needs to move some pieces around and I think he knows that now that he is starting to trade some of his team. Everyone one his team has a decent reliability to them aside from Jason Witten and Desean Jackson. The Beef's season is not over, but he's sitting at a real tough spot if he can't get a win this week. Brady, Freeman, and Peterson need to be his workhorse from here on out.
I put a lot of confidence in this team after his trades, and I was more than wrong. Dak attack isn't even last in points, yet has only 1 win. He leads in points against by a considerable amount and needs to win out to have a shot at playoffs. Even if he happens to win out, I'm not sure he could make it. Ingram and Prescott are his only decent players and his first round draft pick is turning out to be a bust, ranking 26th in receivers. With Forte hurt, Powell might have a shot at being a great RB2 option. Jacob needs the tides to turn quickly for any shot at wins.
